Choose a light color for the foreground and a dark color for the background from the tube you are using.

Gerrie's color choice:

Foreground color on #efeeea and your background color on #6d747d.

File - Open a new transparent image of this size: 810 x 610 pixels

Flood Fill Tool – Fill the layer with the foreground color #efeeea.

Layers- New Raster Layer
